Since proper dental cleaning and extractions requires general anesthesia in veterinary patients, our high-anesthetic-risk dental service aims to minimize the anesthetic risk in older patients or those with chronic health conditions.

Our board-certified criticalist supervises the anesthesia of these patients, and for patients undergoing cancer treatment or care of chronic liver, heart, or kidney conditions, we closely coordinate the dental plan with our patients’ existing internal medicine or oncology care.
