As you and your pet’s doctor wrap up the appointment, the doctor will prepare a visit summary for you. This will include any medication instructions, monitoring and home care instructions, and the recheck plan for your pet.
If your visit included any blood work or other testing that gets sent out to the lab, we will contact you with the results of the testing as soon as they are available. Usually this is within 2-3 business days, although some specialized tests can take longer than that.
We will be sure to send your pet’s records to your primary care veterinarian after your appointment.
If you have any questions or concerns in the days after your visit, please feel free to call us at 413-614-0039 or email us.
If your pet starts to worsen at night when we are closed, we recommend bringing your pet to a hospital with emergency services for emergency evaluation.
