We understand the cost of veterinary care can be significant, and we have several different options available to help.
At the time of your appointment, your veterinarian will perform a physical examination. They will then prepare a cost estimate for you based on their recommended diagnostic and treatment plan. It is generally not possible for us to provide detailed, accurate estimates prior to your pet’s first appointment with us, because the recommended plan will heavily depend on your pet’s physical exam findings.
If the initial estimate is not in your budget, please let us know- we can prepare a few different options for you to review. We also offer options through CareCredit, ScratchPay, and VetBilling to help our clients find payment options that work the best for them.
If a client is interested in financing options, we typically recommend trying CareCredit first. CareCredit is a credit card for healthcare purposes (human or veterinary), and it is easy to apply online or on your smartphone (there is no cost to apply). If approved and if the amount charged is greater than $200, there is no interest for the first 6 months as long as payments are made on time.
ScratchPay is a service that offers loans for medical financing. If a client applies through ScratchPay and is approved, ScratchPay provides some loan options for review right away.
VetBilling is a service that administrates payment plans for veterinary care, and they help us to offer payment plans through our office. There is a one-time $25 fee to apply, and if approved, we will design together a no-interest payment plan for the cost of your pet’s care. There is a $3 fee per payment with this option.
